Students Fueling Students
Members and friends of the SWE Sacramento Valley Section and Sierra Foothills Section joined together to help support Sacramento City Unified School District’s Summer Bridge at the new High School of Engineering and Science. A total of 12 volunteers showed up for two days of fun building solar/fuel cell powered vehicles.

PRESIDENT'S COLUMN
Dear Section Members,
Hope you are having a great summer. As we move on towards the fall season, Sacramento Valley Section is ready for two great months ahead. Our local section will have the 2nd Friday Luncheon on September 14. Our past president Liz Raley will be the host for this event. Unfortunately, I will be heading to Scottsdale, AZ for the joint Region ABJ meeting on the same day.
