$500 Awards
Alina Av (UC Davis – Chemical Engineering)
"I believe that engineering is a career path for continuous observation, learning, and understanding. Even when a process has already been fully optimized, a new technology can take you by storm and you will have a brand new project to observe, learn, and understand as you solve it.
Shuxian Yang (UC Davis – Mechanical Engineering)
“As the first generation attending a four year university in the United States in my family, I truly know the importance of education. This scholarship will allow me to work harder to achieve my education and career goals without having to worry too much about finance.”
Francine Jaramillo (UC Davis – incoming Freshman)
“One of the many things chemical engineers can do is make medicines. This career contains an infinite amount of doors filled with opportunities that can greatly better our world. And that’s exactly what I want to do with my life. Without innovation, there can be no progression.”
